NEW FUEL SURCHARGE Effective June 26th 2011

Fuel Surcharge

Effective February 6, 2012, the fuel surcharge applied to express charges on all shipments changed to 8.75 percent.

The fuel surcharge rate will be adjusted on the first business day of each month to reflect the most accurate market costs possible. The rate will be based on a four-week average price of regular unleaded gas established by MJ Ervin and Associates, a company that monitors fuel prices across Canada, ending four weeks prior to the first Monday of the calendar month.*

The following fuel surcharge table will be used to determine the fuel surcharge rate:

$0.65 - $0.70		3.75%
$0.70 - $0.75		4.25%
$0.75 -$0.80		4.75%
$0.80 - $0.85		5.25%
$0.85 - $0.90		5.75%
$0.90 - $0.95		6.25%
$0.95 - $1.00		6.75%
$1.00 - $1.05		7.25%
$1.05 - $1.10		7.75%
$1.10 - $1.15		8.25%
$1.15 - $1.20		8.75%
$1.20 - $1.25		9.25%
$1.25 - $1.30		9.75%
$1.30 - $1.35		10.25%
$1.35 - $1.40		10.75%
$1.40 - $1.45		11.25%
*Example: the June 2011 surcharge amount will be based on the reported period April 5-26, 2011.

Fuel surcharge percentages and thresholds are subject to change without notice. If the fuel surcharge rises above the prices noted, the fuel surcharge will rise by 0.5 percent for each five-cent change in fuel price.
